Slow for swans
I WAS extremely saddened to hear of the death of the swan that was the victim of being hit by a car a few weeks ago.
Thank you to Sophie Wilkinson for updating me via the letters page on March 17.
I have now saved the emergency RSPCA number in my contacts on my mobile phone and would urge other people to do the same.
A message to the woman who drove the car that hit the swan and didn’t stop – I hope you read this page and have learnt to slow down in that area to avoid a future similar catastrophe.
