WARRINGTON Wolves ran riot to record their biggest victory of the season on Saturday afternoon.

The Wire scored 42 unanswered points in the second half – 24 of which came in the 10 minutes Tigers half Jacob Miller was in the sin bin – to mercilessly thrash Castleford Tigers and record back-to-back Super League wins for the first time since May.

Matt Dufty, George Williams and Paul Vaughan all scored twice, with Williams' second the 100th try of his career as Gary Chambers’ men ran in 11 tries to edge closer to securing their top-six spot.

Daryl Clark, Matty Nicholson, Matty Ashton and James Harrison also crossed after the break, with Ben Currie on the scoresheet in the first half with his 100th career touchdown.

Sam Hall had given the visitors an early lead and Greg Eden had reduced Wire's lead to just six points with a try early in the second half, but Miller's yellow card for a tip tackle on Peter Mata'utia proved fatal.
