IT is back-to-back defeats for Warrington Wolves as a nightmare second half consigned them to a Magic Weekend loss.

Having led 12-6 at half-time thanks to tries from George Williams and the returning Connor Wrench, they collapsed after the break against a resurgent Hull FC.

Josh Griffin scored a second-half hat-trick of tries, with Adam Swift and Tex Hoy also scoring for the Black and Whites.

Wrench's second try had raised hopes of a Wire comeback, with some wayward tee-kicking from Jake Clifford keeping them interested.

However, they never looked seriously like responding having failed to make the most of a first half they largely dominated.
