WARRINGTON Wolves' mini-upturn was brought to a shuddering halt by neighbours Wigan Warriors this evening.
The Wire were comprehensively beaten as Wigan recorded their first competitive win at The Halliwell Jones Stadium since 2017.
Riley Dean and Matty Ashton were the only try-scorers before the break as Daryl Powell's men subsided after half time, with Danny Walker and Peter Mata'utia adding late consolation efforts.
Iain Thornley and Liam Marshall both scored twice for Wigan, with Bevan French, Liam Farrell and Ethan Havard also on the scoresheet.
