The game could see forward Luke Duffy face his former club – having helped Town to promotion last year and having scored in their opening-day victory at Southport, Duffy was prised away from Cantilever Park by Macclesfield, who paid a club record fee for his services.
Long-serving midfielder Bohan Dixon followed him to Macc later in the season, but he was among the players released by the Silkmen after their Northern Premier League Premier Division play-off final defeat to Marine earlier this month.
Town have said their full pre-season schedule will be confirmed next week, with the players set to return to training at the end of June after the majority of the squad agreed terms to remain at the club.
