A TOWN centre pizzeria has closed for good.
Dough Dough opened in April in Golden Square.
But owners confirmed this week that the unit closed for good in late December.
It follows the closure of sister units in Chester and Liverpool.
Owners say it was unable to confirm new lease terms on its unit as the restaurant trade continues to struggle during Covid.
The unit in Golden Square was also home to Prezzo before the closing in 2018 and the unit remained shut until earlier this year.
Dough Dough was known for its signature dough which chefs raise for 24 hours which give the wood-fired pizzas a puffed up ‘cornicione’ (crust).
