WARRINGTON's Prezzo is to shut as the Italian chain takes action to try and rescue its business.
The Golden Square restaurant is one of 94 eateries to close with all 33 of its Tex-Mex Chimichanga restaurants to also shut.
The Warrington restaurant opened in March 2016.
Around a thousand jobs are expected to be lost amid the closures.
The company, owned by private equity firm TPG Capital, is set to launch a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA), which will allow the Italian-themed chain to exit unprofitable branches and secure rent reductions on the remaining estate.
Despite the closures, Prezzo has said it will try to find staff new roles within the business.
