A LIGHT fitting caught fire outside a house in Great Sankey.
Firefighters were called to a fire involving an external light fitting at an domestic property on Victoria Avenue shortly before 10pm last night.
The fire was out on arrival.
Firefighters isolated the electricity supply to the light fitting and damped it down to make it safe.

Crews were at the scene for around 20 minutes.
Two fire engines from Penketh and Warrington attended the incident.
