NO new coronavirus deaths have been recorded at Warrington Hospital for a second consecutive day.
The positive update was released this afternoon, Wednesday, by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
As a result, the trust’s virus death toll remains at 495.
As of this afternoon, 26 beds are occupied at Warrington Hospital by patients that have tested positive for Covid-19, of which three are in intensive care.

One more patient was discharged since yesterday after beating coronavirus, bringing the discharge total at the Lovely Lane site since the start of the pandemic to 1,949.
To date, the hospital trust has conducted 81,894 tests for Covid-19, with 5,351 producing a positive result.
