ANOTHER fall in the number of Covid-positive patients has been recorded at Warrington Hospital.
The good news was released by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Friday.
At present, the Lovely Lane site is caring for 36 people that have contracted Covid-19, of which five are in the intensive care unit.
Furthermore, no new virus deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, with the trust’s death toll remaining at 492.

Two more patients were also discharged since yesterday after recovering from coronavirus, bringing the discharge total to 1,939.
Since the start of the pandemic, the trust has conducted 79,852 tests for Covid-19, with 5,337 producing a positive result.
