A MAN who was found dead in Warrington Bus Station 10 days before Christmas died from an overdose.
Gareth Thomas Blinston, 40, of no fixed abode, was discovered by security staff on December 15 slumped inside a locked toilet cubicle in the station.
Drug paraphernalia was found on the toilet seat.
An inquest held at Warrington Coroners' Court on Tuesday heard how staff initiated CPR while waiting for an ambulance.
When using a defibrillator, a 'no shock advised' message was displayed, meaning there was no electrical activity of the heart.
CCTV was checked but there was no-one acting suspiciously in the area and no signs of a struggle.
A post mortem examination found traces of alcohol, cocaine and diazepam in his blood as well as a large amount of heroin consistent with fatality.

Assistant coroner for Cheshire, Heath Westerman, deemed the death to be drug related.
