The Warrington Christmas trees looking absolutely amazing

THERE were plenty of homes rockin' around their Christmas trees at the weekend by the look of these pictures sent into us over Facebook.

These tree-mendous shots are some of our favourites so far as Warrington homes got in the festive spirit.

We reported in November a number of homes had put their trees up early this year.

Whether it was because they worked in retail and wanted to make the most of their tree or they were just feeling festive, there are a few theories that putting your tree up early can make you happier.

We reported last year psychoanalyst Steve McKeown said: "In a world full of stress and anxiety people like to associate to things that make them happy and Christmas decorations evoke those strong feelings of the childhood.

"Decorations are simply an anchor or pathway to those old childhood magical emotions of excitement. So putting up those Christmas decorations early extend the excitement!"
