The majority of the trees in the pictures in the gallery above went up at the weekend but a couple were as early as the first week of November.
Many added they didn't care what others thought as putting their tree up early made their family happy.
While others said they worked in retail and wanted to make the most of it before long working hours meant they wouldn't be able to make the most of it in the run-up to Christmas.

"Decorations are simply an anchor or pathway to those old childhood magical emotions of excitement. So putting up those Christmas decorations early extend the excitement!"
Debbie McEwan says she's put her tree up as she's working every weekend between now and Christmas
