DRIVERS who illegally park on the pedestrian zones of the town centre are set to face new punishment from this week.
Readers have been in touch with the Warrington Guardian to complain about cars parking in no entry areas near to Horsemarket Street.
An order is in place to cover all of Horsemarket Street and other areas in the town centre.

But as it was only fairly recently introduced, a spokesman for Warrington Borough Council said offending drivers have only been given warning penalty notices.
However from Thursday, he added that the warning period is over and anyone spotted parking illegally will be issued with a fine.
Under the terms of the order there is no waiting at any time and no loading between 10am and 4pm and 6pm and 7.30am each day.
