Travelling by car along Grappenhall Road towards Stockton Heath, just past the traffic lights at Lumb Brook, I was horrified to see, walking along in the road in front of me, a young woman and her guide dog.
I do not know if she was aware that her dog was leading her down a busy main road but it was obvious why – the pavement on the left was completely blocked by vehicles parked at 90 degrees to the road and from gateways to the gutter.
Anyone with a pushchair or wheelchair would have had to do the same.
I appeal to drivers to leave access and not completely block the pavement.
