I WENT with my family to the Odeon cinema in Westbrook to see the new Indiana Jones film.

Before going I checked the website for the times and prices.

On reading the tickets and pricing information I saw that adult tickets before 2pm, Monday to Friday, were £5.30.

We went to purchase three tickets before 2pm (our other family member being a senior citizen) and on paying we were asked to pay £6.30 each, which we queried with the staff on duty.

We decided to see the film anyway and bought the tickets. On returning home I rang the Odeon to question the discrepancy, and was informed that as the film was showing at 2.15pm, we had to pay £6.30.

I think that the information given is misleading because it states tickets not shows, therefore implying if a ticket is bought before 2pm it should be at the lower price for any show. Additionally, there were no shows at this Odeon starting before 2pm, Monday to Thursday, that week.
