I HAVE to say I found myself agreeing with the letter in last week’s Warrington Guardian (May 2) about Warrington turning into a car park.
But it is not just a rush hour.
Have you tried getting anywhere on a Saturday after about 11am.
It is a complete waste time.
The town can be gridlocked, especially around the retail parks.
We just cannot cope with any more cars on the roads.
It is time to draw a line under the new developments.
We do not need more homes and if we do, we need more roads to cope with it.
I dread to think what will happen when the best part of 1,000 houses are built on Fiddler’s Ferry.
Our town is a lovely place to live but it will surely creak under the weight of all this extra traffic.
