IT was with great pleasure that I read about plans for more houses to come to Warrington town centre (Warrington Guardian, April 26).
Hundreds of them on two sites.
These are parts of the town centre that look a mess and need improving.
But where is the affordable element?
There is a real difficulty for young people to find a home at present.
We need decent, affordable homes for the next generation.
Not yet more plush apartments that will just line the pockets for landlords with no real interest in Warrington.
I hope councillors will push developers to make sure houses built in the future in Warrington are ones people can live in.
