THE great concern over pollution could be partially solved by two simple measures.
One, by manufacturers and packaging firms replacing plastic and polythene and more goods with paper equivalents.
Even shopping was placed in a heavy paper carrier and alright, it did hurt your fingers now and again, but it didn’t harm wildlife or pollute the oceans.
Two. A good result from the above change would be, hopefully, that it would also give printing firms and advertisers the incentive to reduce the amount of really what is only junk mail which comes into our homes every day in one form or another.
Please get the packing firms to change their use of plastics and other noxious substances with which the wrap our food and our clothing.
