AT the beginning of the new year the Warrington Older People’s Forum will have been in existence for 28 years.
After renting many buildings in different parts of the town, we are now based in Whitecross Community Centre.
The forum held one of our Christmas parties with the help of funding from Golden Gates Housing and was able to bring the show from The Brindley theatre to the centre.
It provided our many members with a memorable and very pleasant afternoon.
The forum presented the Mayor of Warrington, who attended the function, with a £100 cheque for his charity. I would like to thank the many helpers, particularly Golden Gates Housing, for their funding which made the afternoon possible.
ALF CLEMO Treasurer for the Warrington Older People’s Forum
