One way jam
CROMWELL Avenue (on the Peace centre side), Sankey Way, Whittle Avenue, Liverpool Road, Old Liverpool Road, Warrington Road, Burtonwood Road, Cannons Road, Tankersley Grove and Hood Lane North were blocked due to traffic on October 17.
Every road was gridlocked.
It took me 50 minutes to do a fiveminute journey to take my children to school as the school bus was late due to traffic.
But heading out of town the roads are empty.
It’s all heading towards Warrington.
