WHILE I know that there are variations between different rounds, can anyone explain to me what the logic is of making postal deliveries to residential addresses in mid-morning when people have gone out to work and are unable to deal with items until after their return?

In the business heart of the town postal deliveries are not made until mid-afternoon, when it is frequently too late to deal with items received that day. Surely delivery times should be arranged the other way round.

Is it the aim of the Post Office to try to see that all business correspondence is delivered by email, regrettably we still have to reply upon the post for transmission of documents for signature.
