OUR four-year-old grandson Barnaby arrived for Christmas on December 23 with his parents in tow.
Barnaby went to bed that evening and by 1am was in trouble trying to breathe.
An ambulance was called and a rapid response car arrived in minutes followed by the ambulance.
The staff were superb.
After initial medication at home, both mum and grandson were whisked off to hospital.
May my wife and I take this opportunity to thank the ambulance service for the speed of its response and their dedication to providing excellent patient care.
Barnaby made a full recovery after the incident.
