The former site of the Ship Inn
GUTTED!
Exactly how I felt when I saw what has happened to The Ship Inn, Chester Road.
How can this happen? WBC and whoever is responsible should be ashamed of themselves.
Can we take time out from worrying about green skittles and smelly fountains and start to preserve what’s left of the history and heritage of our town and protect historic listed buildings from this destruction.
That building has stood for hundreds of years and for what?
Enjoy your fancy posh house whoever you are.
Please let’s stop this from happening and make who ever pay for stealing our history.
