IT was interesting to see the letter from George Warburton (Warrington Guardian, September 3) where he says: “Fear is expressed in the dirty tricks agenda against Corbyn because if he is elected it could be the first step towards how ordinary people could have a say in how our society is run.

“Ordinary hard working people trust him as he sees things as they are in reality.”

But that is the point Mr Warburton.

Do ordinary people see him in the light that you obviously do?

For example Mr Corbyn last October was one of the signatories of a letter defending the activities of the charity CAGE.

This ‘charity’ hit the headlines in March after its leader Asim Qureshi described Mohammed Emwazi, know as Jihadi John, as a ‘beautiful young man’.

The man who loves beheading defenceless people himself with a knife.

The charity’s letter attacked the Government for freezing its assets and bank accounts.

Mr Warburton must think that because Mr Corbyn is supporting these kind of organisations, ordinary people will trust him ‘as he sees things as they are in reality’.

Mr Corbyn is not afraid of change, he says.

Well I suppose that is correct as long as the changes are his.

I would hazard a guess that most clear thinking people in this country would not go anywhere near or want anyone who signs his name to defend the activities of the charity CAGE.

This is an organisation that Mr Corbyn aligns himself to and supports and whom you would have as the leader of the Labour Party and potential future PM of our nation Mr Warburton?

I would suggest you and all the others who want to see Corbyn elected the new Labour leader have another rethink and quick.
