I AM contacting you in regards to a recent stay I had at Warrington Hospital.

I was admitted to ward A6 and was kept in for eight days with acute cholecystitis (inflamed gallbladder).

I was in the most unbearable pain, sick and frightened.

Within 24 hours I had all manner of tests to investigate the cause of this debilitating pain.

After a scan, blood test and numerous examinations with doctors it was diagnosed and a plan of action formulated to have emergency surgery to remove the offending gallbladder.

It was during my stay at this hospital that I believe that the continuous around the clock care and emotional and physical support that I received helped me to make a full recovery.

All the staff on A6 surgical ward work to strive for complete satisfaction, all working towards the same goal of improving your current situation and meeting your needs.

Nothing was too much to ask for. I was always made to feel like an individual and they answered all my questions or sought the correct person to do so.

I would like to thank all the staff on A6 from the bottom of my heart for all the support, care and dedication.

You are a credit to our NHS and all your continuous handwork did not go unnoticed.
