CAN I query the current resurfacing of various areas around Sankey and Penketh?
It seems a lot of money has been spent in Penketh; resurfacing pavements and installing huge flower arrangements running the length of Warrington Road (which incidentally look appalling, how about some colour?).
I currently live in Penketh but travel daily to Great Sankey to check on an elderly relative and visit other family.
Why are roads around the old Halton-built homes being left to ruin?
Charles Avenue is disgusting. Vine Crescent and Wilmot Avenue are not far behind.
The pavements on Vine Crescent are so badly shaped that residents and visitors have to walk on the roads, this doesn’t bode well for the elderly who live at Sankey Manor and around Snowdon Close.
Will these roads ever be resurfaced properly and not just have grit and bitumen laid on top?
