MY 90-year-old dad has been in Padgate House for the past six weeks for intermediate care after injuring his knee.
Six weeks ago, on a Sunday morning, he was unable to climb his stairs and was struggling to cope at home.
I contacted Warrington social services in desperation, wondering what to do.
Social service staff were so caring and professional and they responded to my call for help immediately and sorted out care for my dad.
The care in Padgate House has been outstanding.
It is indeed a place of excellence.
The attitude and kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, the physiotherapy, the occupational therapy, the meals, absolutely everything has been outstanding.
My dad looks better than he has for many months. He has been so well looked after. It is wonderful to see him looking so good.
I would like to most sincerely thank Warrington social services and all the staff at Padgate House.
You are all truly wonderful and a fantastic team.
