Donation joy
FROM December 1 we display Christmas lights on our home, asking for donations for a named charity.
This year neighbours joined us for the ‘switch on’ receiving mince pies and mulled wine.
This year’s charity was Research in Parkinson’s Disease, donations amounts to £320 which will be forwarded to Parkinson’s UK to assist funding research.
Through your paper may my wife and I thank all those people who kindly donated to the appeal for their generosity.
Not only adults but also children who call with their donation.
We also received notes with some donations.
