I REMEMBER well the times when my late wife took me shopping.

The time spent holding the bags while she searched through items on display in every shop we went into.

Me tagging behind wondering why she knew what she wanted before she went shopping, but when she arrived in the shops she looked at everything, not at all sure of what she came for.

‘Just looking’ is what she would say.

Bless her.

Because of her training in the way to shop, I am fullY prepared as a man when I go to town shopping.

I wish to pass this on to anyone not used to shopping in town.

When unsure, politely ask a lady shopper which way and where.

Better still, ask women shopping together, more than one and they are the font of all knowledge.

They are a beacon of light in this commercial world to the out of comfort zone males.

One still carried the bags home but a small price to pay for expert advice.

Merry Christmas all.
