READERS may be in interested to know that there is a now a video on YouTube of the recent council committee meeting that discussed the future of the Arpley Land Fill site.
The video can be seen by typing ‘Arpley Land fill youtube’ in a browser, note the space between ‘land and fill’.
It has a thumbnail picture of the town gates and is entitled ‘Warrington BC Arpley Land fill’.
This is the first of what I hope will be a series of videos from selected council meetings.
I believe it’s important in this age of greater accountability that the public actually see for themselves the substance of debate and argument in the council chamber so that they can form their own judgment about the various matters that are decided on their behalf.
