I WOULD like to share my experience of a recent event at the Parr Hall.

The evening of Motown Magic seemed to be enjoyed by all.

Although seating had been arranged many people stood and danced to the memorable music and repeatedly applauded the fabulous group.

I felt the hall was too small and the seating was cramped for people standing and dancing with alcoholic drinks in their hands.

There was no trouble at all but Mr Smith’s nightclub sprang to mind and I thought this would be an ideal place for future events in Warrington.

The town, I feel, is lacking a theatre/arena and money would be well spent by the council to transform Mr Smith’s club.

Surely this would please Warrington residents and give them something to be proud of.

What a good investment this would be for the town, attracting people from all surrounding northern towns rather than visiting the London theatres.
