I WOULD just like to share with you, the top quality service received from the Network Warrington buses.

I very rarely use the buses, unless I am on a rare journey into town or a trip to the doctors surgery. I think they are completely over priced and I enjoy the walk.

Yesterday my daughter was very tired after her second day of nursery and so I thought I would save her little legs and get the bus to school, to collect her siblings.

When the number 21 bus arrived, I was told I could not board the bus with my two-year-old daughter and my 12-month-old son (who was in a pushchair as he can not yet walk), as there was no room for my pushchair.

There were three spaces on the bus and only two prams, which might I add, only one of them had a child in.

The other pram was carrying a box a canned cola, pushed by a father and the child who was much older than mine was sat at the back of the bus with his mum.

After telling the driver there was no child in one of the prams, I was still refused access.

By this time my daughter was becoming bored and I was now running late to collect my older two children from school.

I had to take my son out and fold the pram while holding him in my arms and keeping my daughter in tow.

I did not even receive an apology from the driver.

Today my son had an appointment at the GP for his routine injections.

When the number 20 bus arrived it had a very large pram taking up all three spaces. I happily waited for the next bus. When the next number 20 bus arrived, was refused entry again! This time it was a much smaller pram – again taking up all three spaces. After explaining to the driver that both prams would fit, I was still told I could not board the bus! I was then late for my son’s appointment and had to call my partner out of work to take us to the doctors surgery.

I am completely outraged. Not only have the prices gone up, and the staff have received a pay rise, the quality of customer service has gone down.

I think I can honestly say - I will never board a Network Warrington bus again.
