IT is good that the old Police Training Centre is being developed with nice houses and Bruche Avenue is finally resurfaced.
But why on earth should motorists be penalised with the speed bumps at the new mini roundabout?
I have no argument with traffic-calming measures at this point in Bruche Avenue, but the height of them will surely cause damage to vehicles.
There is no way one can drive over them more than 10 miles per hour without a bone- shaking experience. The bumps that have been installed just prior to the ones described are just about bearable. It’s only a matter of time before the council is inundated with claims for damage to vehicles.
Let’s face it, when all the houses are finished it’s going to be difficult enough to get on to Manchester Road anyway.
