Restrictions for a reason
I AM replying to the letter in the Guardian, March 27, entitled ‘Nifty 50mph’.
Who on earth could think 20mph is too slow?
He, no doubt, is one of many who does 60mph in a 50mph, 50mph in a 40mph, 40mph in a 30mph, and 30mph in a 20mph.
These restrictions are set for a reason. I do not know if he has any children or grandchildren.
What would he say if one of his family going to school was hit by a car doing 30mph in a 20mph zone?
I do not think he would be a very nifty 50mph.
