I WAS in the Golden Square last week braving Primark for Christmas jumpers.
Having my three young children with me we had a sausage roll outside Greggs and were sat on the benches at around 5pm.
We were approached by a woman who had seen my Primark bags and we started a conversation about the children’s department.
My daughter engaged in conversation and the woman then gave my two girls £10. I told her not to be silly but she said it was all in the spirit of Christmas and disappeared.
My girls, aged two and four, were made up and I want to say thank you to the mystery woman. There are not many people like this about and I’ve never seen such kindness towards a stranger.
Needless to say I bought my girls and my son, aged one, a jigsaw each and wrapped them up for Christmas and marked them from the mystery lady.
I’m seriously feeling the Christmas spirit this year.
