GOVERNMENT should be about creating a better society.

Not one riddled with social division as supported by the coalition where the quality of your health and education is dictated by how much you earn or where you live.

The coalition has imposed financial genocide directed at working families while the cabinet and friends wallow in wealth supported by unregulated bankers and an ideology driven by profit and greed while the vulnerable are left to fend for themselves.

Ed Miliband is right to demand a vote in the House of Commons on a tax on mansions.

With the economy struggling, wages frozen and millions unemployed, everyone should be doing their bit to help Britain’s economy recover.

The money would be used to re-introduce the 10p tax rate for lower paid workers helping them out in difficult times.

Everyone should pay their fair share.

I hope readers will write to their MP and ask them to vote in favour of the mansion tax.
