THE panic's over for Wolves back row forward Mike Wainwright.
He flies out to Perpignan this morning after a 24-hour delay due to a passport issue.
A relieved 32-year-old said at Manchester Airport: "I've been moving house.
"It came to Wednesday at 4pm, everything was packed to go but the passport was nowhere to be seen.
"After speaking with Paul Cullen, I had an appointment at the passport office in Liverpool on Thursday at 8.30am but that meant missing the flight with the team.
"I had to take a mate to Liverpool with me to counter-sign my pictures for my passport, which I was able to collect at 1pm.
"There was a flight from Stanstead which I could have taken but that would have resulted in me missing out on training in France.
"So I have taken the place of Mike McLoughlin (statistician) on today's flight from Manchester, so I don't think I'm too popular.
"Obviously, I had a big panic when I could not find my passport.
"With moving house and being close to completion, my passport has been with the solicitors. My wife's is missing too.
"I'm not a person who usually loses things so it is out of character but it has all worked out okay in the end.
"I've only missed one day of training in France so that should not affect my preparation.
"I believe the next session will be tonight at 8pm so that we'll be training in the same conditions as the match on Saturday."
Wedge revealed he has been the recipient of some Tomfoolery from his teammates as a result of his passport issue.
He said: "The lads put a few texts my way at 4.30am on Thursday when they were going for the flight so I had to switch my phone off. I'm sure there will be more to come when I get to France."
