I WON'T be playing this weekend and at the moment I don't know when I'll be back.
I picked up my injury in the Harlequins game last month. It was just my cartilage and my knee kept locking up.
I did it in the last 15 minutes of the game and it was clicking.
Because it hadn't happened before you don't know. My knee just felt loose but the day after I couldn't walk.
I had the operation to clean it out. When you tear the cartilage or snap it, bits stay in your knee and your knee locks. It's like a shock absorber.
Since the operation I've just rested it, doing all my balance and getting my knee strong again.
It's not that much of an operation but some people come back in two weeks and some take longer. It's usually two to four weeks.
I thought it was going to be two weeks but it's been three now so I'll just have to see what the physios say. My leg's still sore and keeps swelling up, so I think I've maybe done too much trying to get back quicker.
I'm hoping to play next week at Huddersfield but I'll have to see.
I hate being injured but so does everyone else. It's boring really.
I've been able to travel in to Warrington and train with the weights but I haven't been able to run on the field.
I'm not going to France this weekend. I'd like to be going to play but not to watch.
When you watch a game it's different and it's frustrating. You want the lads to do well but obviously you want to play.
Grosey's been playing well at full back while I've been injured and I'm going to have a tough battle on my hands when I come back.
I would have loved to have been fit for selection for the Great Britain game last week and I thought it was a shame that Clarkey didn't play because he's been outstanding for us all year.
That would have topped it off for him but hopefully he'll get in at the end of the year and play.
He's gone really well and has been one of our outstanding players. We've had a tough season with injuries but he's been consistent every week.
We were all pleased to see Adrian Morley do well. I hope he's come back confident and does the same this week! It's the French again so hopefully he does the same and knocks some heads off and scores some tries!
Bridgey's back and I think he might play this week.
Grixy's been playing really well in the under 21s, too. He's getting his fitness back and his shoulder's getting stronger, so hopefully we might see him coming back soon.
The mood has definitely changed since the Wakefield win, when I thought we played really well. The defence did well and we've got confidence from that game.
Catalans is a tough place to go and win but I think we will win.
* I was sad to see Paul Darbyshire go last week.
I think everyone liked Darbs, he's been here a long time. I've only been here a year-and-a-half but I liked him as well.
He is a good conditioner and I'm sure he'll go really well in Ireland.
The rest of the boys wish him all the best, too.
