PLAYERS and fans took to social media to give their reaction to The Wire’s 16-16 draw at Hull Kingston Rovers on Friday night.

Twitter: Karen Carney (@KarenC38): Disappointing that @wolvesrl but on the bright side we haven’t lost despite playing poorly over the last few weeks. #hardwired

David J Elliot (@Warrington79): @wolvesrl need someone other than @kurt_gidley to be able to manage a game hope he’s back next week #hardwired

Mike Wrench (@reginawrench): Draw with KR having 12 men is disgraceful. Far too many errors as well #WarringtonWolves

Warrington Guardian website:

ninearches: Poor handling & poor discipline can easily lead to cheap points for opponents & seem to be areas that are within our own control. Maybe iron out the cheap fouls & do away with the obsession with a flat attack which produces more forward passes & knock ons than enough.

JMB Old Hall: Any team can watch Warrington on video and know how they are going to play inside out, no change in tactics, no moves, no passing and movement from the forwards to the back line, its heads down get to the opponents’ line and then hey what do we do now. There are some players on the team who in my view are just not good enough. I do not need to name names and fans who like me can see the problems the coaching staff seem unable too. I hate to say it but you can imagine what Wigan, St Helens and Leeds would have done playing against 12 men. Disgraceful.

scarlet pimpernel: Always same old same old excuse. Average team or not enough effort. Getting tired of it, start dropping some of the average and give someone else a go. Why do we also always build a team around one person and then when they aren’t available for selection we have absolute nightmares on the field. I thought last week they emphasised on ball skill during training? Looked like the training emphasised more around forward passes and dropping the ball. One word for that game...pathetic!

Warrington Wolves – Warringto Guardian Facebook page:

Mark Baker: Inconsistent as always cracks starting to show.

Mark Christopher Moore: How is dropping points to a bottom four side with only twelve men ‘pretty average’?

Damian Jones: All I can say is that we were lucky, just think if it was 13 v 13 would we have got beat.

John Knox: They aren’t horizontal but lacklustre. Leadership on pitch is only gained off pitch. This is awful.
