keithr21: A very good performance today, it's a shame that we did not see this kind of effort a few months ago. Let's hope we can finish the season with a win at St Helens on Thursday, All the best to all the players that are leaving and thanks for contributing to the success we have had over the last few years.

ninearches: Yes what has been going on for the last 28 games ? Players with smiles on their faces... even though under the cosh for much of the game they managed to score 48 points & Roy was a revelation today. It was as if some players were happy to be leaving, but best of luck to all concerned.

pennstate: It says a lot that so many players regained form once they knew they were going. Roy A showed us why he has been an international, Joel's tries were fantastic, and Myler carried on as has since losing the contract. There must be something very wrong in the camp because consistency has dissolved. At least the inclusion of Myler plugged a few gaps, and we need him on Thursday. its time for a new face at the helm, new ideas and a fresh attitude. The loyalty of the fans deserves recognition, they were great today. A few of our senior players, including Currie, need to stop picking their matches if they think they are international quality. They all played gave 100% today!

Press conference:

Tony Smith: "You couldn't have written a script much better for all those boys.

"It was nice for so many of our supporters to stay behind, each of the boys who played their last game on the pitch all played some of their best rugby this year.

"It was fitting for each of them and they got the accolades they deserved. They've each been really good for them for a number of years."
