WARRINGTON Wolves will not enter the 2015 Challenge Cup competition until the sixth round.
Wolves, and the seven other clubs finishing in the top eight Super League positions in 2014, join the competition at the last-16 stage as part of rugby league's format shake-up next season.
Previously, all Super League teams became involved at the last-32 round.
It means the Challenge Cup can be won with four wins in 2015.
The key dates in the 2015 Challenge Cup are:
April
Weekend of 11-12 - Challenge Cup 5th round (teams who finished 9th to 12th in 2014 SL season enter)
May
Weekend of 16-17 – Challenge Cup 6th round (teams who finished 1st to 8th in 2014 SL season enter)
JUNE
Weekend of 27-28 – Challenge Cup quarter finals
AUGUST
Weekend of 1-2 – Challenge Cup semi finals
Saturday 29th – Challenge Cup final at Wembley
