OPENING honours have been dished out at the Man of Steel Awards night at Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester tonight.
Super League 2014 season award winners have been dominated by players from St Helens and Warrington Wolves so far.
Wolves' Matty Russell and Joel Monaghan have been among the prizes, as have former Warrington players Jon Clarke and Martin Gleeson.
The Hit Man Award for most tackles: James Roby (St Helens).
Top Metre Maker: Matty Russell (Warrington Wolves).
Top Try Scorer: Joel Monaghan (Warrington Wolves).
Top Gun (goalkicking): Luke Walsh (St Helens).
Outstanding Achievement Awards (retiring players who played over 200 games and appeared in a Grand Final): Jon Clarke, Matt Diskin, Martin Gleeson, Willie Manu, David Hodgson, Richard Horne, Francis Meli
