WOLVES have picked up injuries in defeat to Wigan Warriors.

The one that looked worst, with James Laithwaite carted off on a stretcher after a challenge from Micky McIlorum, turns out to be the one of least concern.

Laithwaite suffered what boss Tony Smith described as a whiplash injury and is fine after the game.

However, Chris Bridge, who was carried off midway through the first half, has taken a bang on his ankle and will be sent for scans tomorrow.

It was his first game back after a hamstring lay-off.

And Ben Harrison is in the wars with a knee ligament problem.

He played on initially, having sustained the injury early in the game, and his brave efforts to continue became too much early in the second half when he was withdrawn.
