BEN Westwood will miss at least two matches with a pulled calf muscle, but Chris Bridge is set to return for Wolves’ trip to Wigan tonight, Thursday.

Bridge, returning from a hamstring injury, is back in the mix along with Paul Wood and Anthony England as Wolves aim to end the season as high in the table as they can.

Victory at the DW Stadium would see them finish second or third, while a loss will mean going into the play-offs next weekend from fourth or fifth.

Wolves boss Tony Smith said the aim is to continue the momentum from the club’s highest ever away win to St Helens, last Thursday.

He said: “There was a lot of character in that win and the manner in which we went about it.

“Sometimes after a big performance it’s hard to back it up. But that’s what you’ve been practising for and learning hard lessons along the way in order to prepare yourself. Hopefully that’s what’s coming together for us now.”
