TONY Smith has left Rhys Evans out of his team for tonight's clash with Salford Red Devils despite scoring four tries on his season's debut on Sunday.

Consistently prolific scorer Joel Monaghan returns in his place on the right wing, while Micky Higham is also back in the side at hooker after being 'rested' against London Broncos in round four of Super League.

Trent Waterhouse sits out tonight's clash, with James Laithwaite handed his first start of the year in the back row after Smith hailed 'his best performance yet for the club' at The Hive.

Ex-Wolves skipper Adrian Morley starts at prop for his new club, while another former Warrington player - Martin Gleeson - is on the bench.
