WARRINGTON Wolves made serene progress into the Challenge Cup quarter-finals on Saturday afternoon.

Papua New Guinea international Rodrick Tai marked his Wire debut with a try as Sam Burgess’ men eased to a comfortable win over London Broncos, whom they beat handsomely for the second time in less than a week.

Matty Ashton failed to score in the capital last week, but he made up for it on home soil with a hat-trick of tries while his fellow winger Josh Thewlis touched down twice, including the opener in the very first minute of the game to set the tone for a dominant afternoon.

Jordy Crowther also crossed for his first try in Warrington colours, with Toby King also touching down while Matty Nicholson marked his return from injury with the game's final score.
