WARRINGTON Wolves put in another desperately poor performance to extend their run of defeats.
The loss at bottom side Wakefield Trinity was their sixth in a row in all competitions and piles further pressure onto under-fire head coach Daryl Powell.
A nightmare first half did the damage, with Innes Senior’s hat-trick and a further score from Kevin Proctor sending them into half-time 22-0 down.
Paul Vaughan’s try early in the second half briefly raised hopes of a fightback, but quickfire scores from Tom Lineham and Liam Hood extinguished those hopes before Senior added a late fourth and Max Jowitt rounded off the scoring.
