WARRINGTON Wolves' Dec Patton and Harvey Livett were among the scorers as Taylor Welch made his debut for Rochdale Hornets at the weekend.

Stand-off Patton kicked a drop goal and loose-forward Livett three conversions in Hornets' home 30-15 Championship loss to London Broncos.

Patton, playing his second game on dual-registration with Wolves' partner club since returning from a five-match ban, and Livett also had company from fellow Wire squadman Pat Moran on the bench.

Adding to the Warrington interest, Welch made his debut in the centres just a few days after stepping off a plane from Australia.

Former Lymm High School student Welch, who was born in Dallas and represented USA in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup, made one Super League appearance for The Wire at Castleford in 2008 after impressing with the Academy team.

The 28-year-old, who has signed at the Crown Oil Arena until the end of the year, has spent the past three seasons playing in Queensland with the newly developed Mendi Blackhawks side.
