WOLVES fans will get the chance to see several of the club’s new signings in action in the festive friendly against Widnes.

New head coach Steve Price has named his squad for his first game in charge of The Wire on December 29, with new arrivals Bryson Goodwin, Mitch Brown and Luis Johnson all included.

George King, Joe Philbin and Matty Russell are all included after coming back into the squad following the Rugby League World Cup, while senior players such as Mike Cooper, Tom Lineham and Ben Westwood are also selected.

Winger Taylor Prell is included in what could be his maiden first-team appearance for Wolves, while youngsters Pat Moran, Joe Pilling, Brad Pinder and Ellis Robson also get the chance to shine.

The game takes place at the Vikings’ Select Security Stadium and kicks off at 8pm.
